12 Days South African Splendours

This 12 day Kruger National Park & Cape Town combo showcases some of the best attractions which South Africa has to offer the Enabled traveler. Experience the wildlife first hand and up close. Experience the thrill of Table Mountain in Cape Town!

Day 1 – 4

We depart from Johannesburg at 7am (please refer to Pre-departure Information) and spend Kruger National Park the next 4 days in the Kruger National Park exploring this 2 million hectare haven to the Big Five and many other species of animal, bird and plant life. Our nights are spent at various main and private tented camps and bungalows throughout the Park, with night’s 2 & 3 in one camp. Optional cost night game drive available.

Days 5, 6 & 7

After breakfast and a morning’s game drive we depart from the Kruger National park and head to a magnificent Private Game Reserve, world renowned for reintroducing
animals to the wild and its Lion breeding project where we spend the next 3 nights. Activities during these days include morning and afternoon game drives & walks, a visit to a local Shangaan village* (optional extra cost), close encounters with Lions, maybe even touch a wild cheetah (named Savannah) and touching Jessica the Hippo* (optional extra cost).

Dinners are served in a traditional “Boma” around a blazing fire by us.

Day 8

We drive a scenic day’s journey along the Blyde River Canyon back to Johannesburg where we bring you to the airport for your late afternoon flight to Cape Town and on your arrival
we will transfer you to your hotel to enjoy your first night in Cape Town.

Day 9 – 11

The next 3 days we show you the highlights of Cape Town and surroundings including a city centre drive with the spectacular views from on top of Table Mountain and Signal Hill, a Cape Point tour with amazing coastal roads and with a visit to the penguin colony at boulders beach & an outing to the nearby Stellenbosch Wine lands to taste the local wines at 2 different wine farms.

Day 12

Today is at your leisure so you can relax or visit the Waterfront where you can shop until you drop! There are hundreds of shops, markets, restaurants, bars, the spectacular Ocean
Aquarium, boat cruises in the Harbour, trips out to Robben Island, listen to some of the street musicians and much more before we transfer you to the airport for your late afternoon or evening flight home.

You are welcome to add a couple more days in Cape Town to experience this spectacular city and surroundings even more.

Please note: Day 1 – 8 of the above itinerary could run in reverse or other changes may occur due to accommodation availability or other unforeseen circumstances.

Day 9 – 12 are an addition to the Kruger safari and are not ‘escorted’ and on a B&B basis only. However transfers and excursions included in Cape Town are fully accessible.
