    Day 2: LIMA

    After breakfast, enjoy a memorable day in the captivating capital of Peru. Lima was founded in 1535 and was once the capital of Spain’s South American Empire for 300 years; it is also known as the City of Kings. Enjoy a private afternoon city tour featuring the Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the 17th-century Baroque Cathedral and Church of San Francisco and the Palacio de Torre Tagle, Lima’s most elegant colonial mansion. Visit the villages of Callalli and Sibayo with stone buildings built with a mixture of Collagua and Spanish architecture. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and visit the hot springs of La Calera.     Breakfast. Early morning departure to the Cross of the Condor viewing point to observe one of the deepest canyons in the world and the impressive flight of the Condors.     DEPOSITS: A fully non-refundable deposit of $350 CAD/USD (dependent on the currency of the booking) per person is due upon confirmation of your land reservation. Packages including airfare will require full payment at time of tickets being issued. The balance of the land package is due 60 days before departure date. Other exceptions involving special events, conventions and holidays may require a higher deposit amount and in some cases FULL non-refundable payment will be required at time of booking.
